1989 Ford Bronco XLT 4x4 Eddie Bauer Edition V8 5.0 302 with CLEAN TITLE.

We purchased this Bronco 3 years ago and we were told that the mileage on the odometer is original miles (that it had not turned over) and that it came from South Carolina (NO Winter Salt) which is why it had no rust.

It has 57,600original miles. The Bronco IS IN great driving condition (TURN KEY and GO)! Once in a while it would make a thunk when it was in overdrive and would downshift - so we had the transmission rebuilt - thinking that was issue. While the mechanic had the Bronco we had a new water pump, timing chain and gear replaced (because the chain was loose). The rebuilt transmission did not stop the thunk. We took it to an experienced Ford mechanic and he told us that this was a common issue in that year and that it was NOT harming the engine - that the Throttle cable needed to be replaced. It only does it in overdrive and it does not do it all the time - just once in a while.

** The mechanics that worked on the transmission and water pump DID NOT make any statements that they believed there may be more miles than indicated on the odometer. It Does NOT burn oil - which is another indication that has NOT overturned.

It is in great condition. There is no rust visible anywhere on the body, as you can see from the photos. This Bronco comes with the original owner’s manual and features power windows and door locks, cruise control, lights, windshield wipers and air. The radio has been replaced. The rear window also easily rolls up and down with the controls on the dash as well as insertion of key in rear. The engine does feature the 5.0L V8 automatic transmission and starts up immediately every time.

It drives straight as an arrow down the road with NEW $1,000.00 tires.

The interior shows some fading and wear from the age. The front driver seat is a little out of shape but the back seat is in excellent condition as well as the passenger seat. The headliner over the front seats needs replaced but from the front back it is in great shape.

The back part of the roof can be removed. However - we have never taken it off so I do not know how easily it comes off or back on.

As far as we know - the four alloy wheels that are on the Bronco are original.

The Bronco did not have the spare tire on it (or the rack) when we purchased it but it still has the hardware on the body if the new owner would like to buy the rack and put it on they will not need to put the hardware on the body.

This is a TURNKEY Eddie Bauer edition classic Bronco - we put about $2,000.00 in it with the rebuilt transmission, water pump, timing chain and tune up (receipts will be provided). Plus and additional $1,000.00 for the new tires. We have more in this Bronco then what we are selling it for which is we are not putting any additional money in it.

My husband used this as his transportation to and from work everyday and it never let him sit or gave him any trouble. We are selling the Bronco because we need a truck and we did not want to "hog up" this beautiful classic! The Bronco is now in safe storage and not being driven.

This Bronco is not in pristine condition as I have seen on some of the higher priced Bronco's on Ebay - which is why we are pricing it fairly without a Reserve. IT IS however in excellent shape and we get A LOT of complements on it - Plus it as taken home a few trophies from some car shows.
