1963 Ford Fairlane Description

Nice 63 Fairlane Woody Wagon,
Hot Rod Black. Killer looks and Hot 289, automatic, 4 barrel carb, dual exhaust, Power steering, 3rd seat, automatic, Cold A/C, new rims & tires, rebuilt front suspension, drum brakes front & rear, good glass. interior need refreshing up. Rare factory squire 500 woody ****Wagon was factory black with red interior. less than 8,000 units produced.Custominstrumentgauges, lowered suspension and Drives nice like an old boat. Can deliver 35 cents/mile up to 500 miles.
I also have the original nice looking roof rack and a completeextraset offoewood plastic side moldings.A 260 v8 was the original engine. Now has a 289 v8 motor and was rebuilt maybe 3000 miles ago, I don't know what all is in the motor but it's very stout and loud. The transmission has a shift kit and it shifts strong, I don't know when it was rebuilt maybe same time as engine?Glass all good but small crack in lower right of windshield.Wagon also has a new wiring kit installed. All the glass is good theside & tailgate windows are crank NOT electricRear end is an 8 inch and only one wheel wonder NOT limited slip. But will smoke that tire until you can't see inside the car and have to let off.
This Woody is a good old Rare survivor with some Resto-mods that turns heads and thumbs up every were it goes.

Added more pics today after doing a little cleaning.
This wagon as stated before is solid: rockers, floors, bottom of doors, frame, body panels very good (some filler in spots) Not a Bondo Bucket. Brakes OK for drums in all four corners. Yes it needs some interior work: head liner (I have all bows), some carpet could be added and some replaced, front seats (I'd just go to the boneyard and get new ones). This wagon's been driven 53 years, I don't know how many rounds were on the oldspeedometer??Colors were Black from factory, Blue and Black again, inside was red now gray. Never been wrecked. As stated before--------------------"It's a SURVIVOR with slight Resto-mods" duelexhaust, lowered, Edelbrock 4 bbl, etc.Not many left on the road.
(Most these wagons started as a Family wagon with five kids, Moms grocery getter, #1 son beats the hell out of it, #2 blows a valve and #3 put the nail in the coffin) I was there!
