1985 Ford F-150 XL Description

For Sale is a 1985 Ford F-150 4x4 truck that has been converted over to diesel and manual transmission. The engine is a 4BT Cummins turbo diesel. It starts right up without difficulty. Pulls strong. This truck has been converted now for several years, thus all the bugs worked out. It has a paper towel bypass oil filter. MPG is around mid 20's city and slightly higher highway. Tires are good 75%+. It has been recently painted with Plastic Dip spray. Interior seats are Mercedes multi-adjustable electric. New Carpet. Truck is excellent shape mechanically, and has made multiple cross country trips without any problems. Included is camper top, as well as a Ranger III overdrive unit that was at one time in the truck. The owner took out the OD unit because he suspected some bearing noise in the OD unit, but then never replaced it. The truck originally had AC, though not currently working. AC lines are present, but no AC compressor or brackets. Spare tire included. Current tires are 235/75R15. The owner did not have any maint records as he did his own work. The engine does not smoke excessively, nor does it use to my knowledge. I amselling it for the owner as he has had a stroke andis no longer able to care for it.
