2005 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Sport Utility 4-Door Description

Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.

Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2005 Ford Expedition King Ranch 4x4 with just 128k miles. The Expedition is a full sized SUV based off of the rugged and reliable F-150. The King Ranch is probably the most desirable trim level offered in the Expedition. I would rate the exteriorof this Expedition King Ranch to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. On this Expedition, the only bad thing I can point out is a crack in the front bumper by the left fog light. She is finished in a two tone brown metallic over tan trim, which is a good color combination. The finish has a mile deep shine and looks as smooth as glass. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the body trim and cladding is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The alloy wheels are specific to the King Ranch trim package and show well. They are wrapped in a nice set of rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photo's carefully to see how clean this Expedition looks.

I would also rate the interior of this Expedition to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for it's age and mileage. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets are clean and show well throughout the interior. The dash and headliner are clean. On top of having the King Ranch package, this is a pretty well optioned Expedition. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. Even the rear windows tilt open and close with the touch of a button. The leather trimmed seats are clean, comfortable and look great. This Expedition has the desirable captains chairs for the middle row, which makes access to everything inside the cab super easy. The audio system is theoptional factory entertainment / NAV centerand sounds great. This Expedition also has the factory fold down TV/DVD for rear passenger entertainment. The climate control system is fully automatic and there is also rear heating and air conditioning. When I road tested this truck, the weather was on the cold side so I can't say for 100% certain that the air conditioner is working effectively so there is a chance you may need to charge it for next season. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The 3rd row seats lower and raise with the touch of a button. Pride in ownership shows throughout this truck.

Mechanically, this truck appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 5.4L Triton V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. During my road test, I noticed a light vibration in the front end. I'm not a mechanic, but I'd lean towards the universal joint in the front prop shaft showing wear, if I had to guess. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure at all times. There were no idiot lights on during my road test. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints...aside from the aforementioned vibration. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. If you're looking for clean, full sized SUV that hasn't been all used up, this Expedition King Ranch deserves a close look. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
