1961 ford econoline pickup
1961 Ford Other Pickups Description
I have had this econoline for 4 or 5 years and love it but its time for it to go. I am looking to purchase a 1969 chevelle and need the extra cash. It has a rebuilt 170 ci ford straight six motor. The transmission has had all new bearings and seals installed. The brake system is completely been redone. New master cy, shoes, lines, hoses etc. It has a newer battery. The front end has been completely rebuilt king pins, tie rod ends, etc. It has a newer radiator, hoses, belts etc. It has a newer exhaust also. The heater doesn't work it has a bad heater core. The truck does have surface rust but no major holes. It has dents also. The body is still extremely solid. The floor has had some patches put in it but it is all very solid. The gas tank is a beer keg in the truck bed itself. All glass is good. The truck runs 175, 180 temp all day long unless you get on the highway then it wants to run a little warmer. I would not suggest highway travel with this truck. It drives straight and good but it tachs 3000 rpms at 60 mph. The transmission is a three speed on the column. It does have some minor wiring issues. Turn signals don't work. It has the old original wiring I would suggest a rewire. It is really cool to pull into a car show and just watch a crowd of people come look at this thing. You will get thumbs up all the time.If you would like to ask questions you can call or textme. Jeff (859)912-1840
