This truck was custom ordered by the first owner who owned a speed boat dealership in Show Low, Arizona. The owner bought the truck from Don Sanderson Ford in Glendale Arizona on 19JUL01 with 212 miles on it and had White Mountain Performance complete the conversion to make a high horsepower crew cab dually super truck that he used to deliver speedboats. Factory options included power windows, power locks, AC, tilt wheel, cruise control, tow hooks, solar tinted windows, 4 wheel ABS hydraulic disk brakes, intermittent wipers, 26,000 pound GVWR package, 130 amp alternator, dual batteries, 7 speed Spicer manual transmission, 4.88 17,500 pound rear end, 9,000 pound front axle, 50,000 psi double frame, synthetic lube in transmission and rear end, engine block heater, and heated fuel water separator. The conversion included having the stock 3126 CAT 210HP engine converted to 350HP, 880 pound-feet of torque at 2600rpm engine which cost more than $7,200 in parts alone. The HP increase utilized genuine CAT parts purchased from Empire CAT such as the turbo, injectors, pistons, rings, etc. and then had the ECM program changed by CAT to complete the work. A US Gear diesel exhaust brake was installed to help slow down heavy loads while traveling through the mountains. A custom 10 foot dually pickup bed (that at one time had a crossover toolbox located in it) was beautifully made by combining two F350 beds together which then had a spray in bed liner installed. The owner did not want the look of having the standard large round saddle fuel tanks so he removed them and had a custom 75 gallon fuel tank made that sits between the frame rails and utilizes the standard F350 fuel filler location. For easy access, custom running boards were manufactured that also double as air tanks. There is also a custom water tank installed under the truck. Each door has electric actuated retractable stairs that automatically extend and retract as the doors are opened and closed. For towing, a heavy duty custom 4 inch receiver hitch was manufactured. The 4 inch receiver can be rotated 180 degrees to accommodate a standard 2 inch receiver with 2-5/16 ball in the low position for standard trailer towing. In the high position, it is designed to accommodate a standard F350 height gooseneck trailer hitch utilizing a 2-5/16 ball. A back up camera was installed to aid in hooking up trailers. The interior has beautiful two tone seats and flint colored carpet. The first owner kept the truck in a climate controlled showroom with his boats until he passed and the truck was sold on 01AUG11 with 37,900 miles on it. The second owner put 16,828 miles on it during his ownership and regretfully had to sell it due to financial pressures. Records indicate that the front kingpins were replaced on 04MAY12. The original tires which had 55,000 miles on them were replaced with 6 brand new tires, Sumitomo ST709 tires on the steer axle and ST 938 tires on the drive axle. This is a beautiful truck that has no rust and is in outstanding condition.
