2010 Ford E-Series Van XLT Description

I bought this van in June 2016. It is the newer body style Ford E350 with the Quadvan 4WD (similar to Quigley) . The goal was to build out my owncustom interior camper van. I found this van online inDecatur Illinois and it needed some work. I had it taken to Jackson Ford in Decatur for a bumper to bumper inspection. I paid $200 for thisinspection and have the receipt and the assessment. During this inspection, the problems that were found consisted of a bad motor, bad transmission and a wheel bearing that neededreplacement. Everything else got a clean bill of health. I then made a deal with the seller based on this info. The seller asked if we could get a second opinion on the motor. So, SandS Transmissions in Decatur looked at the motor. They came upwith a repair plan. I purchasedthe van based on theirassessment. It turned out that the motor was truly shot and needed replaced. Sand S did me a great deal and backed up their initial assessment byoffering to install the new motor and transmission free of labor. Sand S is a very reputable shop in the Decatur area. They did a great job of installing a new rebuilt motor from Jasper motors and the transmission they completely rebuilt. The motor carries a 3 year/100,000mile nationwidewarranty and the transmission a 1 year nationwide warranty. They alsoreplaced the bad wheel bearing. After the work was completed on all this, the fuel pump was found to be bad and the fuel pump and sending unit werereplaced. All of that work is a value of almost $13,000.00. This van now has all the major things that could go wrong, replaced. I then put new tires on it. This van has a complete matching set of new Firestone tires. The tires are $250 each. Also has custom Ford heavy Duty wheels. 17". I also had new weather stripping seals installed on the side and rear doors.Right now, the air bag sensor light is on and I am getting the front passenger seat belt sensor replaced for that, next week. The Quadvan conversion is valued at over $12,000.00
The seats in this thing are incredibly comfortable. We have driven it about 500 miles since we got it home and it is such a comfort to drive. I love the newer interior and the placement of the cup holders, storage and layout of the instruments. Mywife loves the field of vision through all the windows. She doesnt get nervous backing up at all.
This van was a company crew van before Iowned it. It shows. If you want a vanthat looks perfect, this is not your van. If you want a van that you can use for work or getting out into the wilderness and not worrying about scratching it, this is your van. This thing is a beast. Even with scratches and small dents its a head turner. Even in my little Montana mountain townwhere everyoneowns 4WD vehicles, this thing gets comments. Itwill truly go ANYWHERE.
Why am I selling this van that I so recently have put so much time and money into? I have spent more than I originally intended and I need to recoup my losses. I have an awesome Tacoma that is perfectly built up for expeditioningthat is paid off and am going to keepthat.
I have ALL receipts for all repairs and warranty info for the motor and transmission.
After approved payment clears into my account I will have title signed and my bank will also issue lien release, since I borrowed some of the money for this van.
