You are viewing a very nice 1995 F250 XLT with the legendary 7.3 Power-Stroke Turbo Diesel, AKA, the "million mile motor". Don't let the miles fool you, as you can see in the images, the truck has been well cared for it's entire life.
I'verecently retired, and bought this truck to help with my relocation to a very rural part of Maryland. The truck has never let me down, starts right up in the coldest weather, (has plug-in heater), does not smoke, no blow-by, no leaks, transmission shifts smoothly, (has overdrive), and goes down the Interstates at 75 MPH effortlessly. I recently had the transmission flushed, along with the differential fluid. Oil changes were every 3500 miles with Shell Rotella. The steering is tight,it brakes straight,(also has a Tekonsh Voyager XP brake controller),and has been averaging between 15-16 MPG. The heater will drive you out of the cab, the A/C is ice cold, (never added Freon), wipers, horn, lights, radio, lumbar support, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, all work. Note: the remote control for the door locks does not work.
The interior is really sharp. The carpets, front and back, are in excellent shape. The carpets are protected by custom floor covers that capture the winter mud and snow. There are no tears in the seats, center console, headliner, or door panels. the padded dash is great with the exception of a small 1" crack above the radio, (see image). All glass has no chips or cracks. The windows have a darkish tint, but the application is very amateurish. I would recommend removal of thefilm and having a professional shopinstall.
The four wheel drive works great; the WARN hubs turn easily even in the coldest weather. The Firestone TransForce 235-85 R16 LT10-ply tires have lots of life left in them. The factory wheels are cosmetically in fair shape, but are well balanced and true. Last October I replaced all four shocks with Monroe Gas-Magnums; at the same time, the truck received new rear brake cables, new inner and outer tie rods, drag link, and a front end alignment.
The truck is finished in Oxford White with a matching cap by RAVEN. The paint has a nice shine, no signs of rust, and has only a few scratches and very small dings. I've tried to stay on top of stone chips with light touch-up painting. The most noticeable problem is with the front bumper; it has a rather large dent on the left side, andalso in the center. It was that way when I bought the truck, and I've just never gotten around to replacing it. The rear bumper is heavy duty with a factory hitch. I replaced the front grill, headlight assemblies, parking lights and tail lights, as the originals were chipped, cloudy and cracked.
My new home has a small garage, and the F250 takes up the entire space. In short, the truck is too large for me. I hate to sell this fine vehicle, but I need something smaller. I have placed a very low reserve on the truck, and am certain that the new owner will be delighted with their purchase. I welcome your questions, and will answer them honestly to the best of my ability. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the truck is being advertised locally. Deposit payment must be made within 24 hours of auction close; final payment mustoccur within seven days of auction close. Check my feedback and bid with confidence. Good Luck, and thanks for viewing my auction.
