2012 Ford Focus Titanium Hatchback 4-Door 2.0L - Red Candy, Loaded, Great Car!
2012 Ford Focus Titanium Hatchback 4-Door Description
I'm selling my single-owner 2012 Ford Focus Titanium Hatchback in Candy Red Metallic, which comes with every option on that model, except for the remote start feature. I'm only selling it because I plan on getting a new car.
It was purchased 2 weeks after being built, in Feb. 2012, in Indianapolis, IN. In the summer of 2014, it was moved across country via flat bed trailer.
I've taken great care of it, having serviced it at Ford dealerships every time. I've also only filled it with Tier 1 gas, most of the time at BP or Shell gas stations.
It comes loaded with the Titanium Handling Package, Michelin AS/3 low profile all season tires, black leather interior, MyFord Touch v3.8 (I updated it from v3.6 this month), CD player, bluetooth, radio, Sirius XM Satellite radio, parallel park assist (which makes parallel parking on either side extremely easy), front and rear parking sensors, front rain sensing wipers, winter package (heated front seats and heated side view mirrors), and power moonroof (it tilts and also slides back, open).
Extras include a Ford-branded bug deflector on the hood, front WeatherTech wind deflectors, front & rear Ford-branded molded mud flaps, front & rear WeatherTech all weather mats (original mats included as well), driver & passenger Ford-branded "Focus" front door sills, a K&N permanent, washable air filter (I still have the maintenance kit & will include it), and a Ford-branded engine block cover.
The interior leather, in black, is free of any tears & in good condition.
It also comes with navigation and a Sony 12-speaker stereo (subwoofer is included in the speaker count). Personally I think the stereo's great!
The front wipers were replaced this week with Bosch ICON ones (same model as before, which lasted for a few years).
As for accidents, it's only been in one minor one - the car was backed into while unattended. The front bumper fascia was replaced, the hood repaired, and all work was done at a local Ford dealership under the other party's insurance. The repairs are warrantied for 5 years. Nothing was left out of the repair, either - it's as good as new, which is why I opted to take it to a dealership. The accident occurred in August 2016, the car was repaired the next month, & the photos in this post are from October 2016, well after repairs were complete.
The only major repairs were the clutches & transmission control module this past winter - which was a known problem with this model. Ford has extended the warranty twice as a result. Since replacement, the transmission is much better. It's much more like a newer-model Focus, is more "confident", per se, in that the clutches don't stutter like they used to, and they engage much quicker than the original ones. The repair also included newer on board computer software.
It's been a great car all around.
Car is available for local pickup only.
