1977 Ford F-150 Description

There are plenty of vintage pickups that are great for both work and play, but this 1977 Ford F-150 Ranger XLT 4x4 has just been given the right touches so you can have a correct 400ci V8 classic that still does everything you need and looks great doing it.In the 70s, the Ranger designated an upgraded and very stylish trim package, and as such, this one wears some cool trim like the piece that runs the full-length sheetmetal crease. But that's not what even first caught your eye. Instead, the red stripes over the white add some very unique flair to this pickup. The package is so complete and all-encompassing that even the tailgate follows this color scheme. It might be a tough truck, but it still has room for plenty of classic chrome. Not only do you get great shine on the two bright chrome bumpers, but also the side steps and updated Ford wheels gives this F-150 a very cool presence. The premium pickup feeling continues on the inside. The Ranger trim level means this one also has nice wood around the factory gauges and glovebox. But this pickup has some very nice upgrades, too. For example, there's a cool diamond pattern on the seats that's repeated on the door panels and headliner. You also get entertainment upgrades such as the AM/FM/cassette stereo w/digital tuner, and functional additions like the Hurst floor shifter for the transfer case. But the interior feature you'll probably like the most is just as simple as sliding open the rear window and cracking the side vent glass. After all, there's nothing like taking your classic pickup out on a crisp day and having the breeze flow through the cab. This is a big 4x4, but fortunately, there's a big V8 to move it around. The 400 cubic-inch V8 was the largest small-block Ford had available in these pickups. The V8 looks quite nice under the hood with the big blue block, shiny valve covers, and air grabber with the correct decals. But more than just look great, this is the correct coded 1977 truck motor, so it's likely the original block. It has been given an extra wallop of power thanks to Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock intake. And maintenance has been good, too, with items like tidy hoses and new MSD Street Fire plug wires. This kind of well-done execution means the motor fires up with confidence and runs like a dependable truck should. Plus, the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and front disc brakes are great anytime features. And when it's time to make the scene out on the trail, you can combine the rumble of the dual exhaust with the two-speed 4x4 transfer case and BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires. Yes, this is a great total package for on or off-road. With great features for work and play, this F-150 is your new best friend. After all, he's ready for any adventure and not asking for much money. Call today!!!
