This 2000 Ford F-550 has not been used for the last two seasons. Other than a few local errands to keep her active, this truck has been sitting at the garage. Strictly Ford has done all the recent maintenance on this truck for the past several years (845-361-2063). Call Frank and ask for his opinion on this vehicle. This deal comes with the Western plow and salter seen in the back of the dump. Due to sitting, the dump seems to be frozen. I strongly advise a handy person and/or a person with a fair mechanic to bid. Unfortunately, we have had no use for this truck between the light winter last year, and the loss of certain snow accounts moving forward. The plow and salter were serviced two seasons ago and may need servicing again. The plow received many new parts two seasons ago and should only need minor work. The salter never ran like advertised. This unit has been known to be underpowered. We replaced this unit with another, but those who have kept theirs have upgraded the wiring to allow more juice to power conveyer belt. Everything runs perfectly until a load is applied. Then the unit overloads. The wiring is most likely under-gauged. Again, a person with knowledge of this will be getting a great deal on these 3 items.
