1967 Ford Mustang Base Description

built this car for my son years ago and he enjoyed it for years.. gas prices went nuts so we parked the hotrod and got a honda for work, THE GOOD.. rebiult 289 v8 motor,rebuilt c-4 automatic transmission,rebuilt front suspension... uppers control arms and lowers, ilder arm,inner/outter tie rods, strut bushings.new complete key set for whole car,new outside door handles, new front rear brakes, new 3 row radiator,new thermostst,coolant,all hoses and belts,distributor-wires-cap, alternator,fuel pump,new edelbrock performer intake and 4V edelbrock carbutator. new bue headliner,new front rear blue seats,door panels, did have new weatherstripping but was all ruined taken off for re-paint! carpeting,all dash area chrome and len's! u- joints were done also. i'm probably forgetting some things... THE BAD... it has a rusted spot on the driver floor right under where the flat area is about 8" dia, the dual exhaust sounds great but not new, at one time way before we got it years ago it had been hit in the front and front the shock towers forward its welded on! so the part is replaced, we had a front end alingment done and ther was zero problems with that and he drove it along time with no tire problems! and just found the drip rails at the end where they come down to the doors both sides alittle loose about 2" up. OVERALL CONDITION... he loved driving this car untill the gas price's were making it hard to drive, he had no isse's with the car after doing all the up grades to it! its starts up everytime and runs great, the transmission shift nice and firm, in the summer heat here in northern cal the temp runs cool, this car has alot of power for being stock and drove straight! anyways we parked it at the end of 2008 i think and have stored it since! your welcome to have it checked out by anyone on your dime... window moldings and rocker moldings not shown come with the car but they are used, and used front rear bumpers that were on it...
