1999 Ford F-450 7.3L Diesel Truck Ambulance
1999 Ford F-450 XL Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door Description
Manufactured by McCoy Miller.
Vehicle has no check engine lights or computer generated fault codes.
I have recently done the following:
Replaced idler pulley with a new one by Gates
Replaced belt pensioner with new one by Gates
Replaced power steering pump & pulley with new
Replaced all rotors with new PowerStop HD Performance drill slotted ones with HD brake pads
Replaced tail lights and turn signals with used Whelen LED lights
Replaced headlights with new aftermarket lights.
Replaced Mirrors with new 2010 Superduty model towing mirrors
Replaced running boards with new Luverne Grip Steps
Replaced A/C compressor & components with new
Tires are about 80% tread remaining
Lights and siren and interior controls still function, however I am unable to find the AC inverter for the 110V AC outlets. The blower fan motor has been removed from the rear compartment and will need to be replaced.
The main console for the emergency lighting controls has the labels torn off and left the switches blank but are fully functional.
There is some rust present on the driver's door interior lower edge. It has not eaten through but is a noticeable progressing case of oxidation.
It has a air ride suspension system for the rear axle and has on-board air compressors and has self-leveling system. It will deflate to a kneeling position when the rear double doors are opened.
It has a Telma regenerative power device to allow charging while braking.
I have the vehicle titled and registered in Alaska but is now currently located in Kansas City, Missouri (Midwest) title is free and clear and in hand. I have it titled as a F450 Pickup truck under personal passenger vehicle, not an Ambulance as a commercial vehicle.
Vehicle is under 10k lbs GVWR and is not subject to US DOT or commercial driver restrictions. Anyone with a valid drivers license can legally drive this as it's considered a light duty truck.
It was to be used as a delivery van and work truck for my company but we didn't have a need for it anymore.
Vehicle is being sold in AS-IS condition with no warranty. The vehicle is guaranteed non-DOA and I would trust driving this 3,500 miles to Alaska without hesitation.
