White Platinum 2011 Ford Explorer XLT Sport Utility 4-Door 3.5L
2011 Ford Explorer Description
Up for bids is my white beauty. She has been well-taken care of . . . only 7,500+ miles put on her in the last 18 months! I'm the 2nd owner.
Have home office in Miami, so regular area traveling only. Did drive her to Tampa once. She averages 19.5 mpg in town and 25.5 mpg on the highway. NO ACCIDENTS!! She has had regular check-ups, oil/filter changes, nitrogen in all tires, tread still good, wipers new. Tranny and radiator were flushed at 57K. She runs great and handles and rides on the road very smooth and comfortably. AC is so cold that I usually don't set it as low as it can be set!
Feel free to have a licensed/certified mechanic check her out! I live in 33183 and there are plenty in the immediate area. Mileage at this time reads 65,014 (pictured), but I will be using her during the auction, so some local miles will be put on her. I can give you an accurate count any time via texted/emailed photo of odometer; just ask!
She is packed with most all the goodies: Ford SYNC Sony audio entertainment system (all touch screen) with built-in Bluetooth, multi-function steering wheel (you can do literally everything from this wheel!), dual/automatic AC climate control AND rear AC climate controls. Eight-way power driver's seat and powered passenger's seat (hey, they are also heated!), reverse-sensing system, back-up camera, leather seats, tire pressure monitoring system, 3-row seating and AC vents in each row, plus the usual power windows, locks, mirrors, rear wiper, heated/dual power side mirrors, cruise control and tilt/telescopic steering wheel. For those of you who like towing 'things,' she also comes with a concealed (pictured) trailer hitch mounting hole with 2 types of pig-tail outlets (from factory) with a 'tow' button in the cabin that steps down the shifting automatically and engages the oil pan cooler. A rear spoiler, roof rack and 20" premium stock rims give her that extra 'appeal.' In addition, I have 2 working remote-entry keys, the owner's guide, a Ford set-up CD and the MyFord Touch supplement guide.
What she does NOT have is: the navigation package/software, nor the power lift gate or the sun roof. I have priced around for the navigation package/software and it CAN be added to the existing system and still work as if it came directly from the Ford factory. So, this means that, yes, you will have to get out of the truck and lift the gate yourself and you will have to use your cell phone for navigating, and hey, sun roofs often leak anyway!
Local delivery within a couple of hours of Miami is okay; I don't mind. If you want her picked up and delivered to you, I'll be sure to supervise whoever you send and make sure she gets 'loaded up' and treated properly!
Just take a look at her pix and posted AutoCheck vehicle history and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks a lot, David
