1999 Ford F-250 SUPER DUTY Description

If you follow my auctions you know I have been selling used ATV's on eBay longer than any other powersports seller. I do a lot of driving and typically drive a Dodge Dually that I have owned virtually forever. About 5 years ago I ran across this V10 Ford and since I had heard how smooth they are, I bought it on the spot. Since it is in far better condition than my Dually, I used it for special occasions, on personal trips, or when the sweetie went with me. It is incredibly quiet and as smooth as a truck that has this much capacity could be. It already has the trailer brake and a hitch with a ball in the bed. As you can tell it has the flow through tail gate and everything you would need to pull a camper. It shows a pulling capacity of something like 12,000 lbs so you could pull most anything with it. It uses no oil and runs incredibly strong.Since it is so incredibly smooth and the the least fatiguing vehicle I own I used it to tow a boat to a house I have in Florida. It was only a 21ft boat but I averaged 12.3 MPG pulling with a high of 14 (the best I have gotten solo is 15.4) and a low of 10.2. It used no oil and ran incredibly strong. These engines have 310 HP and 425 ft lbs of torque-that is turbo diesel territory without the huge maintenance costs involved that you get with a diesel. (I know, I have both) This is also the long bed model so it can handle a large cargo. As you can see I still have the owners manual and the original window sticker and it shows it has a 38 gallon fuel tank which is very handy, limited slip rear end, and a camper package. Naturally it has cruise, tilt, ice cold air and power seat. Excellent interior, too. Truly a very versatile, very clean truck for about 10% of what a new truck will set you back. I opened my big mouth a few months ago and told my sweetie that I would buy a NEW truck in June that she would be comfortable driving. (this is a little too big for her) That is the only reason I am selling this truck. I am listing it as an absolute sale and put a buy it now of $6995 which is what a local Ford dealer showed me on trade before I skidaddled out of there. As good of a truck as it is I am sure someone will find years of good use out of it at a fraction of what you would pay to get a new one. Heavy duty trucks are hard to find that have not been abused or worn out-that is what most people do to them before they sale them Not this one. You could fly in and drive it anywhere.Good luck!I am happy to deliver to Salina, KS or Loveland, CO for free (just like my ATV's) or am happy to help arrange shipping or whatever you want to do. You get it bought and it will be easy to get it to you.
