This classic has been in North Florida since new and garaged since 1986 when my father bought it fromthe original owner. This car starts readily and runsstrong. Could be a preservation/restoration, or a reliable daily driver. I have all vehicle repair records from the original owner to present. Served as a daily driver for my mom until 1996, after that my father drove this car about once a week (approx 50 miles/week).Mechanically, this car is very well maintained. The 302 V8 has an aftermarket electronic ignition system, and a holley carb that was installed in '07, has halogen headlights, but is otherwise stock. Cruise control is not working, and it has a small oil leak (only while running) that our mechanic believes is coming from the intake manifold or the valve cover. My dad chose not to repair the oil leak and i would prefer to sell as is. The body is straight and rust free except for a small dent on the rear passenger side door, and a dent on the trunk that does not distort the overall trunk lid and does not cause any leak (see pics). Paint has some blemishes and need for TLC as even though garaged, it was hardly ever washed since about 96. I have buffed out some deep grime/dead paint, and the green metallic paintjob would clean up pretty good with some elbow grease. Power windows and seat all function well. There is an adjustment needed in the driver's window as the motor continues to run past the stop when window is all the way up, but this causes no inconvenience, just a clunking noise in the mechanism when the button is held up past the moment when the window is all the way up. Air conditioning works well, compressor seals serviced in in 3 of '15. Many spare parts including air and oil filter, ignition parts, belts, hoses, and pcv valve. Upholstery has one high wear spot on driver's seat, and a place on top of the back seat where the sun deteriorated the fabric a couple of other small holes on the front seat, and front seat is kind of dingy. Dash has some cracks in the middle around the speaker grilles. Four 1980 Ford repair manuals included (see pic). I recently had our mechanic in Florida check it out and then I drove this car from Florida to North Carolina. with only one issue. The 15 year old Michelin tires started to come apart, so i replaced the tires with brand new Ironman Touring tires (made in USA from Cooper molds as i understand it).
