1959 Ford
1959 Ford Fairlane Description
Selling my project car, a 1959 Ford Custom 300/Fairlane. I have all the side trim to make it into a Fairlane. The tires are new, brakes are new, and the engine has been rebuilt. See the photos, you will like the level of detail. The car has single exhaust with a new Thrush welded muffler, and new tailpipe. It sounds fantastic! The car does run and drive, although the front clip is off of it right now. The only rust is in the bottom of the front fender corners (typical) and the cowl corners, and the leading edge of the hood (common). The car has a mint condition core support that I located for it, as the original was rusty at the bottom, which is typical for these. The rear quarters are solid, as are the rocker panels and rear floors, and most of the front floor boards. I am trying to get out of the car what I have in it, not including my time. I am selling to fund other projects. The wheels have been painted '59 Ford Indian Turquoise, which was the contrast color I had chosen for the main car color of white. The car is originally all white. Brakes are new, steering is tight. Finish it, and enjoy! Ask questions, look at the pictures.
On Nov-13-16 at 14:56:31 PST, seller added the following information:I am adding some new pictures. They show the car as of today, 11/13/'16. The driver's door had some rust in the bottom so i replaced it with a very nice one that I had purchased. I also want to add that all the work has been done by me, a professional mechanic with 30 years experience. I have restored a number of cars over the years.
