1955 Ford F-100 Base Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door Description

For sale here I have my 70s-80s style hot rod build 1955 Ford F100 short bed pickup truck that was sanded down to bare metal, body worked and then left to sit outside the better part of 25 years. The truck was originally a 6 cylinder with a 3 speed on the column but was converted to a 302/C4 auto when built years ago. The engine is long gone but the transmission and drive shaft is still in the truck. The truck has a clear current Ks title that matches the frame stamping and the glove box warranty plate is missing. It has late 60s mustang buckets seats and a console mounted in it. I don't have the factory headrests for the seats. It has a matching set of aluminum wheels without center caps. Other than the engine the truck is missing mainly the bumpers, keys, radiator and the running boards. All of the glass is either weathered, chipped or cracked. There is minimal rust in the truck mainly in the lower cowl, lower fenders and a very small amount in the floor. There is filler that can be seen on the truck but most of it was used to cover dents and not rust. The cab was dented on the drivers side rear corner behind the door and that is where the filler is the worst. The roof and drip rail is in excellent condition as are the cab corners, rockers and rear of the cab. The front bed panel has a metal patch tacked on along the lower bottom and the tailgate has some dents in it. The frame is in excellent shape from front to back. I have the hood but 3 out of the 4 nut plates to bolt it to the truck are missing. I have 4 new hood bolts from LMC truck that are included. The doors don't latch as well as they should so them and the hood will be tied down for shipping. The bed floor is just an old piece of plywood. To get a good idea of what you're looking at go to 55fordf100.shutterfly.com to see over 230 pictures of the truck. The truck is selling with no reserve and all serious buyers are welcome. I can assist in getting transport quotes but shipping is the buyers responsibility. Thanks and good luck bidding.
