1997 Ford F-150 Truck
1997 Ford F-150 XLT Description
Ok- She ain't as purdy as she once was, but she's still a solid truck. Runs strong and does not burn or drip oil (or anything else for that matter). All things work as they should except the power mirrors and the windshield washer switch is tricky to use. Have to push and turn to get washer fluid to come out. Daughter used at college for 2 years. That would explain the smooth cosmetic dent in the lower panel on driver's side (tree in dorm parking lot) and small crack in fiberglass fender on passenger side. I tried to show these imperfections in the pictures. There is a crack in the windshield. It has been there for many years and does not affect your view. Lots of good wear still left on tires. Very strong truck. I think it has a lower geared rear axle, as it is more stronger on low end than my 2000 F-150 with same engine. I am the second owner and I bought the truck used with 13K miles on the odometer. The truck has always had the bed liner, so bed should be in terrific condition. I've never see it myself. I would like to keep the trailer hitch, as I plan to install it on my other truck. Stereo is great and believe it or not, the CD changer works perfectly. Shipping is buyer's responsibility, but will help anyway I can to accommodate. $500 dollar deposit due withing 3 days of purchase and full payment due within 7 days after purchase. All payments to be made with certified funds. Note: I failed to mention that the gear shift selector indicator is no longer aliened properly. Been told that it's a small plastic piece that would need to be replaced. Easy and inexpensive repair.
