For sale

1937 Ford Slantback Deluxe

Model 7, 2 door

Hot rod, custom.

Rare car.

Beautiful art deco design.

All steel body- unmolested - very nice condition

Runs, drives, starts & stops.

Clean clear title in hand

This car had been sitting for a few years due to illness and now it’s back to running and driving and looking for new home. Drive it as is or take to the next level with minimal effort and cost.

Drivetrain:

327 V8 Corvette Engine (SBC)

3 speed manual transmission

Manual drum brakes, Hydraulic, NOT mechanical

Manual steering. - steers pretty easily

I see no drips or leaks, runs at 180 degreesidling.

Interior:

Tuck & roll interior, very nicely done. Excellent shape.

New headliner. New Carpeting.

12v wiring.Original working Speedometer and amp gauge

Newer Temp & Oil pressure gauges.

Vintage Ford V8 Banjo steering wheel.

Tilt out front windshield works perfectly. Cowl vent works as well for added ventilation.

All windows roll down and up perfectly. All windows have a "vent" feature which slide rearward about an inch to create a vertical vent before they roll down. Nice for circulation.

This car seats 5 people, yet small in overall size. Both front seats and backseats have plenty of leg room. Plenty of headroom. Comfortable interior.

Body:

Paint overall is OK, but not top show quality. While there are some cracks and chips, there are no rusted thru areas or paint bubbles anywhere. Maybe a good wet sand or buff out would spruce it up. I have in included a photo ofthe blemish on the door.

All the steel is very solid, so this car must have come from the south. Hood, fenders, running boards, trunk, floor pans and frame are all very solid. See the photos of floor pans and under carriage.

All doors open and close perfectly. Straight seems.

Trunk opens and closes perfectly.Straight seems.

Trunk has a spare and jack. Zero rust.

Final Notes:

I have nothing to hide and will gladly supply more photos or answer any questions you may have. You can come see the car with an appointment
