In fact, during our research only 6,315Futura series Convertibles were produced for the 1965 model year as compared to it's sister, the "uni-body" Mustang Convertible, which produced 73,112 total units. So yes, even modified, this Futura is uniquely rare and especially fun. So, listen up... This kool drop top is whistle straight & nicely complimented with a professional two-tone Chrysler Jazz blue metallic & silver metallic clear coat separated by a tasteful lime pinstripe that flows all the way into the jambs. Other features include factory body-side trim, polished factory grill, tri-bar halogen headlights, chrome bumpers, custom billet trunk trim and power German stayfast "soft canvas" top... Under the hood resides an appropriately powered 302 V8, Edelbrock 4bbl carburetor w/aluminum RPM Air Gap intake manifold, Flame Thrower HEI ignition, aluminum cross-flow radiator (runs cool), block hugger headers w/custom dual exhaust, engine dress, removable full engine over and C4 automatic transmission. Rounding out the package is power Rack-n-Pinion steering, 4 wheel Disc brakes w/polished calipers and rolling on custom 17" front & 18" rear wheels w/ speed rated radial tires...
