I purchased this with a bill of sale and will furnish a bill of sale to new owner/winning bidder. It is a pain in my state to get older cars registered, etc...
Only items missing is the lower passenger body moulding from the front door back, original shifter arm on column (I am using a fabricated piece that works just fine), dome light lens and the backup lenses. Backup lights work as well as every single thing else on this car. Only items that need to be replaced would be a new set of tires at some point and a new shifter column ring if your picky.
Only rust through on car is on the body right behind driver rear door at bottom, the bottom of the spare tire well and 3 VERY small holes on driver front floor, nothing to really even worry about. Only area of filler appears to be in driver rear fender towards the bottom behind the wheel well. Rockers, floors, wheel wells, gate area...all solid
Car runs great and drives great, nothing else really to say. Here are the details:
BODY: Other than small spot behind driver rear door at bottom and filler in bottom of rear driver fender, body is very solid and straight. Rear gate is in great shape and operates smoothly as well as the electric window. All door sills are free of structural rust, just a little surface rust here and there (see photos). Roof channel still has most of it's factory sealer in the channel and shows no signs of rust. There is some surface rust here and there on the body but in no way is it structural. Paint is old and tired but was applied heavy throughout. Someone re-finished/painted the moulding after the respray and it shows some runs in the paint. All glass is good. Weatherstripping is pretty dried out. There is a long scratch/dent in the driver front door (see photo). The floors are in great condition. Amazing given the year and type of vehicle. There are only 2 or 3 very, very small holes in the driver front floor (see photos). They are small enough that you could honestly not even worry about it or do a simple patch with some sealer. The passenger rear quarter has a place in the brown section where someone started to do some sanding on the car....not sure why...possibly to repaint. Thankfully, they stopped there.
CHASSIS: Drives great. Wow! What a cruiser. Brakes operate well, front wheel cylinders and brake hoses are new as well as brake master cylinder. No rattles, etc. The tires will need to be replaced for long term use as they are old, but I have been neighborhood driving it and did have it up to 70 MPH a few times also. Floats down the road. She does list a little to the driver side...I believe the air shocks in the rear are the culprit. I have not tried to pump them up....that might be all it takes to get it sitting more level.
ENGINE: Carburetor disassembled and cleaned. Fuel pump disassembled and cleaned. New serviceable fuel filter installed. New plugs and wires, valve cover gasket and fresh oil change. Engine runs great. So smooth with no issues. A little bit of smoke when revving it high when it's cold, but goes away once warmed up. Hell, why would you rev it high when cold anyway? Pull choke knob out about halfway and she fires up every time. No leaks that I can see coming from engine. Hold temperature very well, no overheating.
TRANSMISSION: Shifts very well. No issues. Some seeping observed, but nothing out of the ordinary.
INTERIOR: All original, but in pretty good driver condition. I believe the front seats might have been redone at some point, but hard to tell. Definitely the passenger seat has been messed with, as it was apart when I bought the car. New carpet installed. Headliner is in decent condition, not falling down but does have a very small tear above driver seat (see photo).
ELECTRICAL: 100% working. Everything.
