1998 Ford Ranger XLT Description

1998 Ford Ranger XLT extra cab 4x4 5sp 3.0l V-6 with flush shell and bed liner, Truck has been with the same family since new with all records of anything done since day one. Modifications: exhaust from the cat back has been changed to a high flow magnaflow with the dump just in front of the right rear tire. Intake, changed to a high flow K and N filter, spark plugs changed to a high discharge multi point plug, speedo reads correct speed, new radiator and coolant, new water pump, new serpentine belt with new belt tensioner pully, Gavin rack has been added to the shell, on top of the rack is a locked covered matching spare tire and wheel as well as a locked high lift jack on the side. On the front of the rack is 42 inch double row LED light bar. On the front bumper are two high output off road lights as well as new high output bulbs in the Factory lights. Three steel (RCI metal works) skid plates have been added to protect stuff under the truck as well as rock rails (Rocky Road Outfitters super sliders) to protect the side of the truck have been added. Suspension: 2.5 inch lift to run the new 255/85r16 BFG MT2 (33.2" tires), tire balance has been done with Dynabeads, so total of a 4 inch lift with tires and suspension together, new A arms with new ball joints, new tie rod ends, shocks are long travel Bilstein race shocks, rear axle is from a ford Explorer and has 4.88 gears with all new bearing and Detroit full locker, 31 spline axles, and disc brakes (anti lock brakes still functional), front axle has 4.88 gears with all new bearing. Rear springs are Deaver G50 race springs, Safari snorkel has been installed to get a real cold air intake, cleaner air, and to avoid water intake if crossing deep water.
