2003 Ford Mustang Mach I Coupe 2-Door Description

You're looking at a Supercharged 2003 Mustang Mach 1 in Azure Blue.

I'm moving to California and will be buying a more "California friendly" vehicle. As a result I'm posting it up for sale.

I've had this Mustang since April 2014. It's loud, proud and definitely will provide complements and thumbs up by passerbyers. The BOV makes a small audible whoosh during shifts and the supercharger whistles a bit, especially around 1500RPM. The most enjoyable sound though I feel is decelerating in gear and listening to the exhaust notes gurgle a bit. Ahh yes, the sound of freedom... and emissions.

For all its noises, it does put the rubber down quite well. The suspension is tight and the tires are sticky with some heat. I suspect its good for an 11.5sec 1/4 mile based on similarly modified cars, though I haven't taken it to the strip myself.

It's been garage kept during the winters under my ownership. I suspect the same from previous owners given the lack of rust. The car originally came from California funny enough. I average between 18 to 26MPG depending heavy my foot is.

Being an older car it does have some imperfections. In the name of full disclosure, here's everything you'll need to know:

The paint on the front bumper has some rock chips. The hood has some nicks, but otherwise in good shape. The black decal on the hood is coming off a bit in one corner. I have the replacement decal in the trunk.

The interior is 100% stock and in fantastic shape. The driver seat left bolster is a little broken down, but that's normal on any heavily bolstered seat. The stereo is the upgraded Mach unit. I don't suspect you'll use it much given the soundtrack under the hood.

The passenger front brake can hang initially when reversing, Doesn't happen often, and lets go immediately. The ABS light is on. I'm told this is tuning related (TSC is disabled via tune) but I haven't investigated this further. The serpentine belt makes some noise on startup but quiets down to normal after warming up (15-20min). I hear this is quite common on the P1SC.

Here's the full list of modifications:

- Procharger P1SC - 6PSI

- Walsh Motorsports tuned - 93 Octane (450WHP/430WTQ)

- Magnaflow manifold-back exhaust. Stock exhaust manifold, no cats or resonators, only mufflers.

- Short-throw shifter

- 4.10 gear LSD installed by Walsh Motorsports

- Upgraded clutch (not exactly sure, but definitely not stock)

- 03-04 Cobra Gas Tank w/ dual Aviator pumps with PPRV delete.

- Ford Racing suspension front and rear (4-link). The car sits lower than stock as a result.

- Cobra front brakes

- FR500 Wheels (8.5x17 front 10.5x17) rear

- Mickey Thompson Tires (275/40/17 front, 315/35/17 drag radials rear)

- Xenon headlamps and foglamps

Other Details:

- 82,000 miles or so

- Clean title

- No lien

I tried to be as detailed as possible, though it's best if you come see (and hear) the car for yourself and go for a ride along.
