1964 Ford Other Cortina Description

1964 Ford Cortina. This is a western car and spent most if it's life in Arizona. It spent the last 15 or so years in dry indoor storage. I acquired it with a full drivetrain from a 1965 1500 GT.
The entire drivetrain as well as the underside of the car has been completely rebuilt and detailed. Here are some of the details:
The engine is completely rebuilt. Bored .040, lots of Burton Power goodies including a fast road / rally cam. Ashley header (jet hot coated), dual webers. New water pump, oil pump, electronic distributor, essentially everything mechanical is new or rebuilt. The gearbox is original but in good condition. New clutch balanced to a machined flywheel. New clutch master and slave cylinder. New battery. New Griffin aluminum radiator, hoses, thermostat. New GM one-wire alternator.
The brakes are front disc / rear drum. The calipers have been rebuilt with stainless pistons, new pad and rotors. New shoes on the rear. New master cylinder. All new lines with braided stainless hoses. No e brake. The suspension has 100% new poly bushings from front to back. New front wheel bearings and ball joints. All steering joints are new. The front has been converted to coilover and has Spax adjustable damper inserts. New Motorsports-Tools aluminum strut tops with spherical bearings. Spax adjustable rear dampers to match the front.New 12 gallon aluminum fuel cell with 0-90 ohm fuel sender mounted between the wheehouses. New electric fuel pump and new lines / filter of course. New 2 1/2 custom exhaust and new tires.
The body and paint is pretty much untouched. Nice patina if that's your thing. If not, zero rust holes. It's probably the most solid unrestored Cortina I have ever seen. Absolutely no rot anywhere. Several dings and dents but nothing major. The interior is very western. The window and door seals are hard and brittle. Headliner is gone. Not much carpet and the seat upholstery is mostly duct tape. The dash pad is terrible. Windshield is cracked but the rest of the glass is good. The radio is original and doesn't work. Blower motor doesn't work but the heat works. Blinkers, wipers, turn signal, head and tail lights all work. None of the original gauges work but I have oil pressure and water temp gauges added.
The rear end is next on the list for a rebuild. I will order a rebuild kit for the diff and rear wheel bearings. I will include them if the car sells before that is completed. The price will be less negotiable once completed.
I have tried to cover everything but there are surely details that I have overlooked. Please come see it if you can.
Don't be afraid to ask questions either.
The car is listed for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction any time.
