1968 Ford F-100 SHORT BED Description

This is a 1968 F-100 ( Short Bed) pick-up. This truck was sold from Hub Ford ( Atlanta, Ga) to the last owner in 1978. The truck was originally a 6 cylinder truck that has a modified 289/302 installed into the engine bay. The engine is mated to a 4 on the floor with Hurst shifter making this truck much moreenjoyable to drive. This truck has remained in the south its entire life.The truck is wearing vintage slotted mags and the tires are in very good condition. The paint is old and if its patina you look for, then you have found it.For those who like the razzle dazzle look then this truck will need a new paint job. The paint on the truck is a overcoat on top of the original red paint.The body of this F-100 is straight. The bed is good with no holes in the bed.The interior of the truck is red with rubber mat floors and a full bench seat that was recovered sometime in the trucks lifetime.
The truck runs well and drives well allowing for the immediate use of this item. If you are to use this truck on a farm it will perform well for any and all choresthat are needed. Perhaps you want tom build a show truck then this is a good start.
