This is a very nice 1998 Ford Explorer (mechanic special). It drives straight, stops and starts first time as it should.

Details as I know it.

Engine runs great but has a slight miss at times. May need spark plus, and or sparkplug wires (tune up). This may be why engine light is on, not sure. Oil good - just changed, transmission shifts as it should, inside very clean for its age, driver’s right arm rest has a rip, could be covered with duct tape, the hood needs to be pushed down and a person pull the hood handle to unlock the hold, ( I think it is the bug guard, in the way), back hatch is stuck closed, not sure how to open, but if you are handy, then should be able to fix, head light switch is a little funky, but lights come on and off from sensor, tires and rims and brakes good, exhaust good, wiper wash may be out or has stopped working, A/C unit needs a recharge one time a year, paint is good but could use a good cleaning and wax, front passenger side window has a little tuff time going down but goes up trouble-free, I think the front passage side tire linkage may need adjustment, not sure, has a clean title, inspection up to date, the 4 doors open and close, wipers work, horn good, lights very bright, windshield has one stone chip, bumpers front and back good, I have not seen any rust. The rear shocks may need to be replaced.There are many positive attributes with is Explorer, but to be fair listed the negative one as I know it. If you have any question please ask before bidding, and yes you can come over and check out the Explorer in person, and if you like bring your mechanic or friend that knows cars. The Explore is to be picked up in Calverton NY 11933, if you want it shipped, you need to pay for the Exploder 1st. and you need to set up shipping and pay for shipping. Explorer needs to be picked up within 10 days after payment has cleared. Payment is due 24 hours after bidding has ended. Again, this is a 1998 Ford Explorer (mechanic special).
