2000 Ford Focus KONA Description

I'm listing my 2000 Ford Focus Kona zx3. It has a 5spd manua, with a 2.0 Zetec 4cyl motor with 180k on it. The car runs and drives well, and has no mechanical issues. The vehicle history shows water damage back in 2009 from Virginia beach, but there's no sign of any sort on the vehicle, and it starts and runs well. The title is a clean Michigan title, but shows salvage history from Virginia beach which the car is originally from. The body has zero rust, the paint is in pretty good condition for its age, except for a dent in the front left fender, a spot of faded paint on the front left fender, and the roof had faded paint, so I wrapped it with carbon fiber wrap. The interior speakers have all been replaced with Rockford Fosgate Power speakers which are powered by a kicker amp. There's also a subwoofer with a built in amp in the rear. The head unit is aftermarket as well, and is Bluetooth and Usb capatible. The rear tai lights were placed with a black led set, the turn signals are led as well. I also installed a led light bar on the roof rack. The hood was replaced with a carbon fiber ram air version. The wheels are 17 inch Eap SVT wheels, which are plasti dipped, some of it is peeling off, and the tires will need replaced soon. The suspension is an Ebachi Pro Street-S coil over set up. I got the set up used last year. New it cost around $1200. It also has upper and lower Focus Werks strut bars in the front, The exhaust has all been replaced with aftermarket parts. OBX header and downpipe, cfm flex pipe, and Magnaflow cat back. The motor has a blue Steeda throttle body, 24lb ford racing injectors, MSD coil and wires, Ford Racing crank pulley, powder coated metal valve cover, NGK spark plugs, poly motor mount and a Aem intake. The shifter was replaced with a short throw style shifter. The e-brake handle was replaced with one from a SVT focus, but I never hooked up the cable. I am including the following list of parts with the car, most of which are brand new in the box.********************************Ford Racing Limited slip differential. -NewFord Racing oil pump.-NewFidanza Blue cam gears-NewCrane cams-NewSteeda built head with big valves-NewSteeda fuel rail-NewComplete engine gasket set-NewClutch masters Aluminum Flywheel-NewGates Blue timing Belt-NewCenterforce dual friction clutch-NewClutch slave cylinder-NewWater pump and thermostat housing-NewPorted stock intake-UsedPower steering relocation kit with anodized fittings braided hose, includes a pump.UsedArp head studs-NewCfm poly dog bone mount-UsedI may or may not be forgetting some things, but everything I have is included with the sale. Feel free to ask any questions, and set up a time to look at the car prior to bidding. It has been sitting in my garage for a better part of the year, so it may need to be cleaned up. I have a lot of money in parts here, but I am moving on with this project and just looking to recoup some of my money. Please no zero feedback bidders.

On Nov-22-16 at 08:44:04 PST, seller added the following information:

. I went out to my garage and jumped the car, it started right up. But when I took it around my neighbor hood, the gear shifter disconnected from the cable at the base of the shifter. I took the center console off to find that the cable is good, it's just the linkage that hooks from the shifter base to the cable broke off. So long story short, the car is going to have to be towed now. I'm adding a pick of the linkage. If you're a focus guy, you'll know what I'm referring to. I lowered the reserve accordingly. Sorry for the inconvenience.
