2003 Ford Explorer XLS Sport Utility 4-Door 4.0L-Was Used As A Fire Department SUV, Excellent condition, mileage of 58,630 original miles
THIS IS A VILLAGE-OWNED VEHICLE AND MUST BE SOLD ACCORDING TO ILLINOIS LAW; IT MUST BE SOLD IN AN AUCTION-TYPE SETTING SUCH AS EBAY. THERE IS NO BUY-IT-NOW OPTION. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY TRADES FOR THIS VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD AS-IS AND WITH NO EXISTING WARRANTY; NEITHER EXPRESS NOR IMPLIED. THE VEHICLE WILL BE SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER AFTER THE STARTING PRICE HAS BEEN SATISFIED. THERE IS NO RESERVE ON THIS VEHICLE.
POSITIVES:1. This vehicle was used as a fleet vehicle at the La Grange Fire Department. It was used to travel to/from fire scenes and carry some equipment/manpower. When not in use, the vehicle had been stored inside a heated garage.2. Regular maintenance had been completed on the vehicle and oil was checked routinely on a weekly basis.3. The interior of the vehicle is extremely clean and well taken care of. There does NOT appear to be any damage at all inside.4. The exterior of the vehicle is also in very good condition. There appears to be NO damage; just normal wear-n-tear scratches/scuffs/etc.5. The vehicle appears to run/drive/function properly with no noted issues.6. The SUV is a 4-door vehicle with a rear gate.7. The vehicle has a center 60/40 split bench seat.8. The vehicle is equipped with a hitch/tow package.9. The vehicle has a CD Player and AM/FM Stereo.10. The vehicle has a lighted glove box, cup holders in the front and rear seating areas, adjustable head rests, a tilt steering wheel, a large center console for storage, and a hands-free cell phone holder.11. The vehicle is equipped with a roof rack/rails.12. The vehicle has Firestone Tires #P235/70R16 in good condition with 16" full face steel wheels.13. The vehicle has functioning Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Cruise Control, Front and Rear Wipers, Rear Defrost, and Cigarette Lighter/12V Aux Adapter.14. All lights, lamps, signals, wipers, horn, etc. are in good working order.15. We are unaware of any mechanical issues at this time and the vehicle appears to be operating just fine.16. The vehicle comes with one key, one remote fob, and the owner's manual.17. New transmission in October 2014.18. One new Wheel Bearing in April 2015.
NEGATIVES:1. The vehicle shows signs of normal wear-n-tear on the exterior; small scratches, dings, scuffs, but nothing major or that noticeable.2. The vehicle was involved in a MINOR accident in February 2008 where the front bumper was damaged/repaired. We have the CARFAX report.

Upon pick up of the vehicle, a CLEAR title and a Bill Of Sale shall be provided. We do NOT charge any taxes.
