In 1966 Shelby and Hertz got together and came up with the Rent a Racer Program using the GT-350 and Forty years later they did it again with only 500 cars being built in 2006 and again in 2007. The GT-H packs Ford Racing Performance and Handling with the classic black with gold racing stripes. This car was used in the Hertz Fleet and does show some scrapes, scratches and dings that are common for any rent a car let alone a Rent a Racer. Car is in great running order and is a blast to drive. This car come with original window sticker, Shelby invoice, Copy of Hertz title, Certificate of origin, and other original documents. Car did just recently go to the Ford dealer to have the airbag recall taken care of but only the drivers side was able to be done. Passenger side parts are not expected to be available till mid next year. This car has had Ceramic Pro 9H coating applied By Sweet Cars of Fort Wayne Indiana. This is a very unique car and has become highly collectable car. We originally intend to list the matching Shelby production #199 cars togethe, but due to E bay rules this can't be done. The other car is a 06 Coupe with Shelby #06H199. You can find the other car under are for sale items and auction will end within a short time frame of each other.
