2003 Ford Crown Victoria LX Sedan 4-Door Description

I am selling my 2003 Crown Victoria LX Sport which has been swapped to a 5 speed manual, among many other tasteful modifications. If that sounds AWESOME to you, please read on.
As far as I am aware this is THE ONLY MANUAL SWAPPED LX SPORT IN THE WORLD and I did some serious digging. Every other manual Vic is either a normal civilian model, or a Police Interceptor, and even then there are not that many out there. The love this car gets is unbelievable, police officers are frequent fans!
Please read the list of modifications below, you will not find another CV like this. All of the hard work is DONE!
--- Stock LX Sport Features ---- Limited production model
- Leather
- Bucket front seats & center console
- Power seats
- Power windows
- Cruise/Steering wheel controls
- Larger sway bar
- 3.27 rear gear
- 03+ has improved front suspension setup
- 6 Disc changer
- Auto-leveling rear air suspension
- Keyless Entry (door code and key fob)
Now for the custom stuff...
--- Driveline ---
- Tremec TKO500 5-Speed manual transmission
- Pro 5.0 Short Throw Shifter (brass shifter cup upgrade)
- Classic Hurst Handle and Knob
- King Cobra Clutch
- McLeod Hydraulic Clutch Setup (external slave cylinder)
- Custom Aluminum Driveshaft
--- Engine ---
- Custom tune by All American Street Car Performance
- K&N drop in washable filter
- Magnaflow mufflers and rear silencer delete (retains all cats)
--- Handling ---
- Naake QA1 Coilover Suspension (adjustable on all 4 corners, retains rear air ride)
- HTRZII 255/35/17 Tires on all 4 corners (10"w)
- Suspension tuning by Dyer Performance
--- Interior ---
- Marauder gauge cluster (installed for OEM Tachometer + silver gauge faces)
- Double DIN touchscreen/bluetooth head unit (pretty factory looking)
- Hands-free phone
- Bluetooth music from mobile devices
- Backup camera with guide lines (also factory style, not a cheap license plate one)
- 10" subwoofer in a simple enclosure
- Brushed aluminum dash and door panel inserts
- Bullitt/Mach 1 style pedal covers
--- Exterior ---
- Police Interceptor grille with custom paint matched surround
- Black headlight housings
- Custom honeycomb grille inserts in lower bumper openings
- Vinyl wrapped B pillars (gloss black, cast vinyl, can be removed)
- Vinyl wrapped trunk panels (PI style, gloss black, cast vinyl, can be removed)
- Police Interceptor badge
- Legal window tint
--- Imperfections ---
- Clutch needs bleeding I think? The car drives fine but the pedal sometimes engages lower to the floor (includes a brand new clutch cable in case you want to swap away from hydraulic)
- Due to a bad ground, the temp gauge reads maximum all the time
- Same ground seems to make the tach drop out every now and then
- Odometer reads lower than actual mileage (I have original/new mileage at time of swap, mileage in listing is accurate but the car is driven so it may increase)
- Small split on armrest between front seats
- Car was keyed on the trunk lid (before I owned it)
- Minor paint blemishes
- Cruise control works but has trouble holding constant speed (minor accel/decel)
This car is tons of fun without the need for crazy power-adders adding complexity and maintenance. The transmission swap reduced weight and vastly improved the gear ratios yielding much stronger acceleration in all ranges AND a longer overdrive for highway use. The custom tune by All American Street Car Performance picked up some power. That combined with the coilovers and tires (currently tuned for a notably sporty but still comfortably daily-able ride) make this a really remarkable car. Its straight line performance is neck and neck with a Mercury Marauder, but in the corners it REALLY shines. Prepare confuse/upset a lot of people.
