2014 Ford Taurus SHO Sedan 4-Door Description

For sale is a rare unmarked "street appearance" AWD 2014 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor Sedan. This is one of the rare models that features the 3.5 liter V6 twin turbo engine - same as the Taurus SHO and Explorer SPORT.
A stock Taurus SHO makes approximately 290 WHP (365 HP at crank). This model has been tuned and dyno'd at 317 WHP (nearly 400 HP at crank) running 93 octane. 1/4 mile times are approximately13 seconds at 105 MPH (never tested on a drag strip though, so exact figures could vary slightly).
Average MPG has been 18/city and 26/highway running 93 octane.
This car is in excellent A+ condition and has a clear PA title. New PA registration and inspection through 2017.
Thankfully, the car was never used as a patrol vehicle or to transport prisoners. This car was issued solely to a commanding officer of a New Jersey police department and was taken out of service at only 12,500 miles upon his retirement last year (because the department is now running Ford Explorers instead).
There are zero cosmetic or mechanical problems. No exterior scratches or dents. The interior is immaculate with no tears or stains on the seats or floors.
It was most recently inspected at a factory Ford dealership in February 2016. Oil changes are routinely performed every 3000 miles. Tires have approximately 50% tread remaining. Brakes work phenomenally.
Included is a Whelen CenCom Sapphire power control box which is currently operating the vehicle's red/blue emergency LED lighting system. Emergency LED lights are located on all sides of the vehicle and under the hood of the trunk (visible when the trunk is popped open).
1 new spare tire and jack kit are included.
The car was originally equipped with front and passenger Level 3 ballistic door panels (rated to stop common 5.56 and 7.62 rifle cartridges from an AR-15, AK-47, etc.). The panels have been removed to reduce weight and improve MPG efficiency, but they can be included for a small additional cost.
