1966 Ford Mustang Base Description

No sign of rust on this Springtime Yellow Arizona Mustang. Arizona beauty! Absolute pleasure to ride and drive! Very much like new! Performs perfectly and has it's nice and cold Ford air-conditioner too! Very stock with only 88420 actual miles. Comes with top-boot, owners manual, 2 sets of Mustang keys and three of the 66 Mustang full size wheel covers like the one on the spare tire in the trunk picture.Only custom items are the polished entry scuff plates, the dual exhaust, the air-shocks, the FM radio (not cut-in), and the new B.F.Goodrich TA Radial tires. Plus, has the cool Ford dog-dish hubcaps on the original steel wheels all around.The 200 cubic inch, straight six cylinder motor performs perfectly and has awesome torque since the engine has the big, long crankshaft instead of the shorty cranks like the v8's have. So, this means, even though the engine displacement is smaller and more economical to operate than others, it's sturdy andyou hardly have to give much gas pedal to effortlessly access it's power! The automatic-transmission performs perfectly too, same with the power-steering. Has some light interior wear that you can see such as the lifted carpet edge on driver side entry area, some screws loose/missing on the glove box and the vinyl top is ok but the inner cloth fabric is starting to wear out and the plastic rear window is discolored and lays loose in the top storage bay, out of sight. This is a plain-Jane so it has the manual top that works flawlessly. It's not electric or hydraulic. The passenger side mirror is gone and the 2 tiny screw holes are still there but not very noticeable. The gas gauge jumps around and the high beam instrument light is loose behind the cluster and shines white light under the dash when the high beams are selected. There is a need to replace the right rear window regulator and I have already acquired the new one. Just needs to be installed. As I recall,aside from very, veryminor cosmetics, everything else is A-1 or at least very, very good. Drive this home or anywhere else. No smoke. No leaks. No noise. The clean, block-A Arizona Title is ready for it's new owner. No emissions required on the 66. Excellent condition but sold as-is.This should be worth 25 to 30 grand or more but I'm motivated so there is no reserve price and WILL BE SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER!My listing fee is $50 and I'm not playing around with selling this beautiful automobile so, there is a NON-REFUNDABLE $500 PayPal deposit required at auction ending. Because of inquiries even though I'm disabled I got down on the cement behind the trunk and snapped two pictures from the underside rear view and added them today. Again there is no rust issue anywhere on this 50 year old beauty. Of course there is surface rust on some of the underside mechanical parts, but very clean under there.

Hi guys...I got this a while back and because of it's condition paid about $21000 for it! My loss is your gain! Was well worth it to me because of how nice and clean and original it is and because of how nice it performs. This never got the beater-treatment so it is awesome nice. Only changes I'm made areget nice tires on it, install the nice air-shock system and add the dog dish hubcaps from a 61 Ford Falcon. Thechrome dog disheslook great on there. Because some folks like to swipe the big 5 bar original covers and seem to get stolen often, more that once. FYI1966 in the only year like this, 64-65 type had weird six bars and 67 and up were way different. There arethree left to go with the car. The simulated chrome spoke ones are weird too in my humble opinion...if I want spokes I want them to be on an actual spoke wheel, hahaha! To each there own! Thanks for you interest Everybody!
