1952 Ford F-100 F47 Description

These little fellows are getting hard to find these dayslet alone one that still runs after 65 years... Up for bid is a 1952 FORD F1 1/2 TON SHORTBOX PICKUP TRUCK IN ORIGINAL RUNNING CONDITION serial vin # BDA83AHP-29501. It has a four speed floor stick shift transmission and the brakes are presently inoperative. Engine has good compression and runs but will need a new battery, fuel tanking cleaning as it was last run off separate tank due to fuel line being clogged, possible carb cleaning/kit, and last of all water pump leaks. Obviously, due to sitting the wiring, lights, etc. will need to be gone over due to it sitting for many years. Bodywise cab is excellent great corners, solid floorboards(small rusted area on passenger side as picture shows and tiny spot in same area drivers side) plus both doors solid and open close well.Side glass is good but front, rear, and quarter glass isrequired As you can see there is no seat and the drivers window needs to be put back in. Box is very straight except for backing plate which is slight bowed in the middle but easy fix and wood floorboards are rotted away.Drivers side running board is solid and passenger sideneeds repair in some areas. All chrome is there except for drivers door handle. Rear tailgate is from a same year Mercury and is NOT included with this auction. This pickup is solid overall withdings/dents,normal for any farm truck this old, and a few rust spots.A semi-skilled bodyman could do wonders with it in a few hours for sure as metal under the rough bodywork in the pics seems to be solid and fixable. FREE PICKUP at Pembina North Dakota, 58271, and if you need it stored for a short time period I can look after that as long as it has been paid in full. Also, if you need it shipped can help with arrangements, loading, etc. $500 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of auction close and balance within 7 days via wire transfer or cashiers check.
