1930 Model A Roadster Pickup Truck
The early 1930 Model A Roadster Pickup Truck is a started frame off restoration. I started in year of 1983. Everything was painted in 1983 (32 years old) and assembly started. All frame and running gear have been rebuilt. Motor had been rebuilt by Bud Schwalm (Paradise, PA) and has been driven about 32 miles.Motor is balanced, has refinished crankshaft, all new bearings, new cam, pistons, valve springs, stainless steel valves and hardened seats so you can use “no leaded gas”. Motor starts and runs great. The under carriage has been restored to show quality. The frame and running gear are painted and restored with E-proxy Paint so it will not easily chip and is show quality. Body and fenders have very little body filler. The tires and wheels have the correct valve stems and tread for the year of the truck. Truck has all the correct interior pieces, new seat springs, new seat covering and new top from Lebaron Bonney Co. Upholstery not installed but in the bed of the truck. Shocks are in the bed of the truck. I had to stop working on the truck as my job required me to do a lot of traveling, so I stored the truck until now. I found that the truck needed to be taken apart and re-painted so I stopped assembling and decided to sell it.
