1928 Ford Model A Description

For sale is a 1928 Ford Model A RPU that started life as a closed cab. This truck started out as my own personal hot rod project and was assembled from parts collected over the past several years. The frame was sand blasted and painted. The body started out as a closed cab but was rough so I made it a roadster. I added 8 inches to the body just behind the doors for more comfort and leg room. The pickup bed wasshortened the same. Doorhandles were shaved and set up for bear claw latches. The drivers door is temporarily installed and I have all the parts for the passenger side door. New wood is in the floor and there are brackets to make a bomber style bench seat. The mechanical brakes were swapped out for juicebrakes with all parts supplied by Clings. I have the mastercylinder and pre formed brake lines from Clings they just need installed. The transmission has been rebuilt. It has old school friction shocks all around. I have two motors. One needs rebuilt the other has not been run while I've owned it but it looks complete and comes with a numbers matching title from Virginia from 1937. This truck DOES NOT have a current title and will come with a bill of sale. The frontsuspension is all new with a reversed eye leaf spring. I have the front and rear fenders and hood also but they are notfinished and are in original condition. I have a down draft intake with carbs I also have the original intake and carb. I have a generator and a new 6v alternator. This sale will include all the extra parts I have which are carbs, generators, starters, extra set of 19" wheels, transmission parts and cases andseveral cases filled with misc. parts and pieces way to many for me to list here but bring a big truck! The only item not included with the sale is the red 40'ssteering wheel. This is a project and will need to be finished and because of this it is being sold as is and remember that even though the motor has a numbers matching title from 1937 it will be sold with a bill of sale. Please ask questions or if your close stop by to look at it before you bid. Also I need to note the gas tank is not usable as it was rusted out and filled with expanding foam and I was intending to put a fuel tank in the pickup bed.
