2014 Ford Fiesta ST
2014 Ford Fiesta ST Description
Feel good about yourself and purchase the amazing Fiesta ST from someone who does not want two car payments. Not only will you have a 197hp/214tq rocket, but you will feel good inside for helping another human being. If you like, I'll even include a framed picture of myself only making a single car payment, once purchased. The Fiesta ST was voted the Top Gear Car of the Year in 2013. The FiST is nimble and very easy to drive around town, getting over 30 mpg while retaining fun, by means of a turbocharged 1.6L motor. Tear through the gears with a 6 speed manual, and imagine that you are behind the wheel of a LaFerrari. The Fiesta is probably faster (in the snow, with winter tires, and if the Ferrari is on fire). This one-owner, Oxford White FiST is also much more rare than it's bigger brother, the Focus ST.
This car does not have a sunroof nor the heavy and bloated recaros which everyone loves. Realistically, the car is lighter and therefore faster than the other FiSTs on the road. Heck, toss the stock seats for some fiberglass seats and save even more weight. This is the perfect base to build that rally car you have always dreamed of.
The car comes with TSW Hockenheims in 15's, wrapped with Dunlop DZ101's. The stock wheels are Rado gray (optional extra) and come with Blizzak WS80 winter tires purchased last year. Unfortunately, the two that were in front aren't in great shape as the car made two trips to central Illinois when the temps hit nearly 70 in March. I was not pleased. The 15" wheels on the car allow for more cushion. My girlfriend preferred the softer and more luxurious ride. I believe it would be close to riding in a Rolls Royce, but I have yet to sit in one, so take that with a grain of salt. I also have the stock Bridgestone's that came with the car. They are still good, but would need mounting.
The stock intake is also available, but the car currently has a polished Injen intake installed. This allows you to hear the turbo better, and possibly scare unsuspecting bystanders to spill their Starbucks on themselves. What could be more fun?
This car has never been raced nor autocrossed. It was a daily driver, which is now a garage queen. Sure, the garage isn't glamorous, nor do I have a fancy lift or a racing shop, but it is dry and clean and the car fills the space nicely. It has 23k miles but could be good for 500k more, pending your mechanical ability and financial situation. If you rally the car, I suspect you may get less.
In all seriousness, the car is absolutely fantastic to drive. I sincerely do love this car, but I needed something more spacious and comfortable for my 6 hour drive to Illinois every few weeks with two other grown men in the car. If I didn't mind having two car payments, or my credit had been better, I would not be selling this car. Unfortunately I cannot justify paying for it to sit, and I want the car to go to someone who will appreciate the car as much as I do. It is in great shape, and only run on synthetic oil since leaving the dealership. If you are simply a wealthy person, feel free to pay the car off for me, as my birthday is coming up. I will plaster a massive decal of your face/name/business on the side of the car and take it to rally events. I will continue paying towards the principal balance of the car and bring the price down as I am able, but feel free to pay off what I owe and feel good about yourself for helping another cool person.
