1999 Ford F-350 XLT Description

The original owner retired and had his equipment broker buddy sell his personal truck- a coveted 7.3 PSD 4x4 dually! She's been used but not abused, and no engine modifications/tuners/etc. I bought it to refresh and keep the rest of my days, but as delineated below, plans have changed significantly, and she is for sale. Following is a list of what has been done recently to baseline and refresh the old girl:-flush and refresh all fluids including cooling system, transmission, T-case, differentials, and complete engine service with filters and belts.-6/ea new BFG tires-new SS MBRP exhaust system replacing the original still on the truck from new!-front 2" leveling kit utilizing new hangers and shackles but retaining orig springs-new front shocks, track bar, and sway bar links-front end alignment-new headlights and tail lights as well as new grille-new HD front winch bumper-new power tow mirrors-new headliner, interior steam cleaned and new Carhart canvas seat covers throughout-updated center console-new slide out cupholders (always break with age)-new glow plugs and updated harnesses-new viscous fan and water pump-new ICP pump sensor-new in channel window deflectors-windows tinted-new Gold Warn hubs-new shifter, cable, and tow/haul switch-even had the white portion of the exterior professionally painted at considerable expense to be fresh and shiny!!
I have gone through the truck and attempted to get her in as close to new condition as possible. Why buy a new $75k 6.7 with DEF and more sensors than a Space Shuttle that render the truck inoperable whilst on a trip, or in the middle of nowhere?! Not me- find the best most reliable diesel ever made, maintain it, and drive 500k miles without the worry or cost of a new truck full of electronics!! Just wish I was able to comfortably get in and out of it...
Prebid inspection is welcome- encouraged in fact! Failure to do so does not remove buyer's responsibility to confirm all details of the vehicle, as people have greatly varied perspectives.
Please read all the above, look at the pictures, ask questions, but do not bid if you are not going to fulfill your purchase responsibilities! I have a small window of time to get several vehicles and parts sold and shipped before my upcoming surgeries, and appreciate your sincerity to purchase pursuant to the terms listed. Bidders with less than 10 transactions or feedback less than 100% must contact me prior to bidding, or your bid will be removed.
A little explanation as to why I am listing several vehicles and parts. The past 4 years have included several surgeries, and I have a couple yet to go. I have been a motorcycle/car/4x4 enthusiast for 45 years in the driver's seat, and being an engineer, am a bit fanatical about my rigs, and have managed to travel Central America, all 50 States, and all Canadian Provinces in my own vehicles numerous times without a breakdown. No chest beating, just a testimony to my build standards and maintenance schedules. I have purchased a new F-150 'do-it-all' with extended warranty for the first time ever!! My plan is to enjoy traveling with my family and not be in the shop building/tinkering/modding numerous vehicles. Feel free to visit thervrbarn sold page for examples of my passion over the years. Thanks for looking, and happy bidding!!
