1916 Ford Model T Description

I have for sale a 1916 Ford Model T TouringPROJECT car. This saleincludes the following:

Rolling chassis with 3door body, Hassler or Hassler style shocks all the way around,(4) fenders, (2) splash aprons, (2)running boards, hood former, brass radiator, hood shelves, (4) rims, brand new tack woodfor interior around the back of the seats, engine/trans, (2) headlights, (2) side lamp housings, rear tail lamp with license plate & mounting bracket, 1916 windshield frame, 1916 steering column, louvered aluminum hood, coil box with key, steering wheel, all fender irons & running board irons.

The body is in very good shape (both the wood and the metal)with one dent in the right rear corner (as pictured) and one slight crack beneath the left rear door (as pictured). The rearfenders are in exceptionally excellent condition and the front fenders are very good for their age, however the left fender needs very little work at the back end where it meets the runningboard. The splash aprons are NOS. Hood former is in exceptional condition. The wheels are all re-done 30 x 3 1/2 demountables with 30 x 3 1/2 demountable rims (not correct for1916 as they came out in 1919 but they do work on the car). The body still has the tag on it from 1/16 and the casting date on the block is 12/21/15 however the manufacture date of the car is 1/26/16 by the vin number.

Note: I have not been inside the engine however it does turn freely.

NOTE: I HAVE NO TITLE FOR THIS CAR!

I have owned & collected parts for this car for several years but I am ready to let it go as a project to someone else as I no longer have the interest to complete it. If I had to guess I would say aside from upholstery and top this car is 85% - 90% complete maybe more. I feel you would be hard pressed to find a better candidate for a restoration project if this is the kind of car you want to do.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you for looking and happy bidding!
