Below is a detailed summary of the history, and all the work recently done.
HISTORY - This truck, as far as I know, was bought new by "Southern Blue" lawn service in Williamsburg new and was fleet maintained by their business. They told me it was their "irrigation truck" used to haul and install PVC irrigation systems. I bought it last year when it had about 96,000 miles on it. At that time they had just replaced the tailgate due to workplace damage.
CURRENT CONDITION
Like I said, I just took it to Priority Ford to get it state inspected, a new sticker was issued. I also had them give it a full inspection of other things to ensure it was in the best sell-able condition. They cited that the right axle seal was leaking at recommended typical services. Lots of scratches dents dings and things... but the mechanical condition is great. I have gone through it to ensure everything is tested and verified as working. I had it detailed today (Monday 5 Dec) (buffed, waxed etc.) to minimize the scratches and protect the paint.
Here is a list of all the things that have been done over the last year.
- New rear wheel bearings and axle seals, both sides (to fix the inspection issue mentioned above)
- New front wheel bearings (both sides) with ABS sensors
- Fluids replaced within the last few months (differential, transfer case)
- Transmission fluid and filter. Installed a drain-able transmission pan.
- New Catalytic Converters (both sides)
- New Oxygen sensors (all)
- New 4wd shifter motor, actuator valve, front right integrated wheel end (IWE)
- New Brake pads and front Rotors
- New driver door latch
- New Platinum Spark Plugs

-INTERIOR
= I stripped it bare, everything out.
-New overhead cloth
- Installed sound deadening material on entire cab floor
- Installed new carpet
- Seats = Some have new foam (driver has new "DuraFoam" seat), all have new OEM vinyl original gray covers. On top of those I put Cover-king Black/Navy Wet suit neoprene seat covers. The seats are amazing... the interior fabrics are fantastic.
Why am I selling?
Well I did buy this to keep for a long time. I put a lot of work, tim, and money into it... and frankly its a nice drive, looks OK, and the 4 door was nice for the family.... but at the end of the day, it's not a diesel... which is what I really think I need. So I got a diesel and this needs to go now.
