I have a 2004 F250 Lariat. Super duty, super cab 6.0 diesel. TONS OF WORK DONE, JUST GONE THROUGH!
I have babied the hell out of this truck and I hate to get rid of it I just want something cheaper for insurance. I do an oil and fuel filter change religiously every 5,000 miles. I run diesel clean fuel additive in every tank as well as hot shot in the oil additive. There's no worrying about spending $300 on a stupid sensor they are all lifetime warranties. This is a lariat so it has the dual leather seats, heated and power, nice towing mirrors, aftermarket Bluetooth radio and 150w speakers (4). I have a CB radio with a PA system. All windows are tinted including the windshield which cuts down on heat, almost like a built in sunshade, grille guard, 6 3/4' bed keyless entry. Everything has been bullet proofed by the previous owner. I did a lot of work making sure this would be the perfect truck for somebody, starts right up and has lots of power. I was offered $7,000 on trade in by ford. I know it's high mileage but it's diesel come on.
Work just done: just re did wiring harness, new sensors and pigtails, new ipr, O rings on injectors, just replaced the front cover which includes the low pressure oil pump, water pump, and thermostat. Fuel and oil filter change as of yesterday. New starter.
Work recently done: new tires and shocks about 15,000 ago (still under road hazard warranty) alternator and batteries as of February 2014, oil rail rebuilt in May of 2013
Probably a lot more that I'll find going through the receipts. With that being said 400k miles. Just gone through absolutely perfect will go and go.
