1919 Ford Model T Centerdoor Description

For your consideration, a California 1919 Ford Centerdoor Sedan.Ford offered as optional equipment on the closed cars only: Electric Starter, Generator, Storage Battery and Demountable Clincher Rims (for quickly changing a spare tire).Tires are 30 x 3 ½ front and rear, in good condition, some very small weather cracking.Has new six volt battery and original magneto.I have only changed the Kevlar band lining in the years of owning the car.Starts right up, runs great with lots of fun times. I have owned this Ford for twenty-three years.I am still in contact with the previous owner. This Ford has a Kingston carb, Stewart Warner speedometer, exhaust whistle, original column horn button, Ruckstell two-speed rear axle and Hassler Shock Absorbers (front and rear).Body in very good condition for the age, doors open and close easily. I was told that the Driver’s side splash apron is not correct for this year vehicle, therefore doesn’t set flush against the running board, about an eighth of an inch gap, as you can see in the picture. The hood, front fenders and cowl show signs of fish-eye in the paint.I suspect it might have been repainted at one time, though not while in my possession.Has minor paint chips on some fenders and a small dent on the top of the right rear fender (see photo of the right rear fender).Has paint peeling around the windows and under visor on the wood portion.Needs new upholstery, headliner and vinyl top as these are original to my knowledge. This car starts and runs with tremendous ease! A perfect candidate for a driver enthusiast needing an early Ford to compliment their collection!Great pieceof history! SHIPPING/ HANDLING/ INSURANCE EN ROUTE IS THE SOLELY RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.YOU ARE BIDDING ON THE AUTO ONLY.I WILL GLADLY HELP WITH PHOTO’S, DIRECTIONS AND LOAD LOCATION (I LIVE ON A HILL, I CAN BRING THE AUTO TO STREET LEVEL) TO THE CARGO TRANSPORT THE WINNER CHOOSES.
