For sale is my 1999 Ford F550 Fontaine Classic Traveler. This is a beautiful truck made for hauling any trailer you feel like hooking up to. It has the legendary 7.3 Powerstroke Turbo Diesel with only 98,000 miles on it. I bought this truck around 5 years ago from the original owner. He used it only to pull his fifth wheel camper with. I bought it to tow my fifth wheel with as well. It was all stock when I bought it. Here is a list of what I have done to the truck-DP Tuner programmer-Air intake system-Full 4" inch exhaust from the turbo back-John Wood Automotive Valve Body-ATS Turbo Housing-1.0 AR Exhaust Housing on the turbo-Riff Raff Diesel compressor wheel for the turbo-Riff Raff Diesel Overboost Code Regulator-ISSPRO Gauges for boost pressure, transmission temperature, exhaust gas temperature, fuel pressure, and engine temperature,-Engine Coolant Filtration System with spin on filter-6 new 19.5 Hercules tires less than 2,000 miles ago.-Moog greaseable upper and lower ball joints-brake pads replaced all around approx. 15,000 miles ago-inner and outer Moog tire rod ends-Monroe heavy duty shocks front and rear-Curt front receiver hitch-replaced water pump and serpentine belt, also replaced upper and lower radiator hoses. Upper radiator hose is from a truck equipped with dual alternators so if belt replacement is ever needed in the future you dont have drain engine coolant to do so.-31 row transmission cooler from 6.0 Ford, transmission fluid is BG Full Synthetic-engine oil is BG full synthetic and is changed every 6,000 miles-Sony AM/FM/CD/DVD player with JL Audio speakers-Prodigy P2 brake controller-Gooseneck hitch plate
This truck runs and drives great. It is the ultimate towing machine. This truck is ready to hop in, hook up a trailer, and drive across the county with no worries at all. If you are not familiar with the Fontaine F550 do your homework and you will see how rare and desirable these trucks are. They came from the factory with a 26,000 pound fifth wheel hitch, a 4 link rear suspension with air ride and a dump valve, TranserFlow fuel transfer tank with 70 gallons of fuel capacity, custom fiberglass bed with aluminum tool boxes.
The interior is in great condition. There are no rips, tears, or noticeable stains. This truck has never had cigarettes smoked in it. The body is also in great condition. There are a few nicks and scratches but nothing major. This truck has never been driven in the winter or on salt covered roads. There is no rust on the truck. The only thing I know that is broke on the truck is the spring for the cupholder.
The title is free, clear, clean, and in my name. The carfax is clean and has never been in a accident. No paintwork has ever been performed on this truck.
