1973 Ford Ranchero Description

You are bidding on a VERY RARE 1973 “N” Code Ford Ranchero GT. This car comes complete with a Mardi report that indicates it is one of only 35 known to have been produced in this color scheme with the white vinyl top. It still retains its original 429 4bbl engine, C-6 trans and its original 3.25 traction lock rear. This car is an original survivor car with one repaint done several years ago and its original white vinyl top. The floor pans on the passenger side had a few small holes (size of a pencil eraser) from rust that were properly repaired by cutting out the rusted area and new metal welded in. Then the entire floor area was restored to like new before installing a brand new color correct carpet. The bench seat was completely reupholstered professionally. It feels and smells like a new car when you sit inside. This car has the factory tach along with a full gauge compliment. This is also a factory A/C car and all original components are still in place and the compressor still works. It will need a Freon recharge. It also still has its original AM/FM Stereo radio in the dash and it sounds as good as it did when it rolled off the showroom floor.

This car rolled off the dealer lot with a Ford trailer package installed including the brake box which is installed along the bottom of the dash. This brake box appears to be the original as it is period correct for what would have been installed in 1973. It is also wired for a CB radio but none is included.

To the best of my knowledge this is a rust free and very solid original survivor car. The engine runs strong and the original Ford carburetor has just been rebuilt. The front disc brakes were recently rebuilt along with new hoses. The tires are brand new. A very nice set of Magnum GT center caps for the wheels come with it. This car is ready to cruise or show.

You won’t likely see another one of these at your local cruise in or car show and even if you did the chances of it being of this color combo with the Big Daddy 429 Engine are slim to none!!!

Don’t miss out on this chance to own one very rare piece of American Muscle with the paperwork to prove it!!!The El Camino of this time period had nothing on the Ranchero GT and this example is proof positive of that!!!
