2000 Ford f250 Super Duty XLT
2000 Ford F-250 Xlt Description
2000 2wd f250 xlt super duty extended cab short bed. The truck has been in Washington state since new. Automatic transmission that the previous owner had rebuilt. It has a shift kit for pulling trailers, 3rd gear is really firm when holding the throttle, when lightly accelerating it shifts like butter. No rust, outside of the bed is in perfect shape as well as the cab corners. It has a 2017 super duty tailgate on it which is $600 alone. Installed a brand new ecu 6 months ago. It has a K&n cold air intake. Toyo 10 ply tires on it I paid $1000 for now have about 60% life left. Just installed brand new ford motor craft plugs not even 10 miles ago and a brand new heater core so the heat is burning hot and it has ice cold ac. I had recently installed an alarm system paid $300 for with keyless entry and a double din pioneer stereo with the reverse camera paid an addition $350. With the camera it's perfect for hooking up to trailers by yourself. The truck has plenty of power with the 6.8 v10 and can tow anything you throw its way. It has the tow package wth the electric brake box also a hidden goose neck hitch set up. Previous owner installed it and never used it. Cost $1500 alone. I'm looking to down size and don't need the truck anymore. 181k miles and counting I use it for work every day but don't let that fool you, look out in Washington and 250k miles is the average on a vehicle this age out there for sale, it's a lot of highway miles traveling back and forth to New York and Washington 5 times. I've replaced a lot of parts such as front and rear brakes and rotors, headlights, ball joints, door lock actuators which are known for going bad from the factory and a lot more. 0 rust on the entire truck. It has a 6,7 and 4 pin connection it can tow anything. Freshly tinted windows and windshield strip. Tri fold bed cover. Has chrome heater powered, mirrors with turn signals. Clean Washington state title in hand.
The only damage on this truck is on the drivers side where the cab meets the bed. It's like a slight crease. Doesn't effect anything. Not even noticeable if your not paying attention to it. And it will also need an exhaust resonator to quiet the truck down a little. It used to have aftermarket exhaust but a stock muffler was placed back on. No exhaust leaks, no odd noises, truck is in over all great shape for its age and very reliable.
