2014 Ford Fiesta ST Hatchback 4-Door 1.6L
2014 Ford Fiesta ST Hatchback 4-Door Description
I'm selling my 2014 Ford Fiesta ST, in Ingot Silver with 34k miles. This car has the highly desirable Recaro seat package (almost a $2000 option when I bought the car) as well as navigation. This car does not have the moon roof making it great for taller drivers.
I am the car's original owner, it was purchased new at South Bay Ford in Hawthorne in 2014. I have a complete service history with receipts as well as a detailed maintenance spreadsheet detailing dates, costs, services, part numbers etc. The car has been immaculately maintained since new.
I have made several small upgrades to the car to increase drivability:
The car now has a COBB Tuning upgraded motor mount which dramatically improved the quality of shifts without adding undue harshness and vibration to the car.
The car also has a Hotchkis Sport Suspension rear sway bar which has improved rear traction and helped the car to feel a bit more planted. The front sway bar is stock though I added adjustable end links that were of a higher quality than stock.
The front brake pads have been upgraded to Porterfield R4-S units. This brake compound offers much better modulation and slightly reduced initial bite which I find helpful in driving around town. The are also much less dusty than the stock Ford pads. The rears are stock. Rotors are stock.
When the OE tires wore out (at nearly 25k miles, impressive for tires with a 140 treadwear rating), I replaced them with Michelin Pilot Super Sports. These Michelins dramatically improved the ride quality and offer unparalleled wet traction with next to no sacrifice in dry grip. They're also quieter and feature a 30,000-mile treadwear warranty from Michelin.
I have replaced the stock shift knob with a custom wood knob on a COBB tuning base. I have the stock knob and it will come with the car.
The exterior and interior of the car have been well looked after. There is a very small scratch on the front bumper of the car, I've taken a photo of it, though it's hard to see. Aesthetically, the biggest downside of the car is the wheels. They were curbed by an overzealous valet about a year ago and I haven't gotten around to finding another set of stock wheels, though they can be had for around $200 used.
I've really loved this little ST, it's the most fun car I've ever driven. I've taken excellent care of it and while I've driven it enthusiastically, I've never abused it which is going to make it something of a rarity.
