In 1967, there were three Mustang body styles that Ford offered a Sedan dubbed a Coupe, a folding roofreferred to as the Convertible and thismodel the 2+2 Fastback or sports roof model. These popular cars were set up for two passengers in the front seat and twoalso in the rear seat, that’s why it's a 2+2 . Nice body lines and plenty of interior room, thiswas the body stylewhich became the signature piece of Ford's racingsporty Mustang line.

With such a aerodynamic design it became the platform for the GT 350 and GT500 Shelby's Sports roofas well as the Bullit and Eleanor which weresome ofthe mostappreciated muscle cars.The Fastback Mustang wasthe star of many Hollywood movies like one of our favorites "Gone in 60 seconds featuring Eleanor and like we noted Fordssponsored racers.

We are offering this as a project car in as is condition needing a complete restoration. We boughtthis carwith aclean Florida titleand it will be offered with that title. Can you imagine the time it took to remove the rusty panels and prep it to receive new ones that are included. You will find both full quarter panels with inner& outer wheel houses, trunk floors, rear frame rail, tail light panel, deck lid. Also a1 piece full floor with seat pans and forward frame metal panels.2 good useddoors, new fenders, Hood, grill support headlight extensionsfront and rear valances with host of other needed items to complete the exterior from originallouvers we are also includingall glass with hardware.

The car was a factoryC code which is a 289 with a2 barrel carb but is currently withouta motor. The motor compartment area is intact without damage and the cowl is just fine. the rails are intact and you'll be supplied withthe metal that's needed to make you happy.

The body is in above average condition free of rustandall the body panels are in the same good condition.Althoughmost of the factory trim, moldings are missing we are offering fastbackrelated parts at our discretion. We added some new parts that we installed for our pictures as this car was somewhat disassembled and missing pieces when we found it.
