Thank you for viewing our 2005 Ford Taurus SEL 4dr sedan. This Taurus was a local trade in and is a strong runner, but it is in need of some underside repairs due to rust. This car only has 99,000 original miles on it and is powered by a 3.0 liter V-6 engine mated to an automatic transmission with front wheel drive. The engine is strong and smooth with no smoking or overheating. The transmission shifts out strong and at the correct shift points. The car drives straight down the road, and seems to stop fine. There are no warning lights on in the dash board. The car has a clean CARFAX history report with only one minor accident reporting back in 2006.

As you can see from our 100% positive feedback, we practice our due diligence in providing you with as much information as possible in order to assist you in making a good, informed buying decision. This car is no exception, and in the interest of full disclosure, here are some areas of concern that we noted: Mechanically.....The tires are weak, the rubber sway bar bushings are weather cracked, should be replaced. There is a suspension noise over bumpy roads, which could be those bushings or possibly strut top plates. The left lower ball joint has play in it, and needs to be replaced. Cosmetically / Structurally.......The white painted body looks very solid, and there are plastic trim moldings that cover the rockers below the doors, so from the exterior, this car looks fine. Once, on the lift, we found that the metal rockers under the plastic trim piece are wasted / rusted away and need to be replaced and there are also rust holes in the floor boards that need repair or replacement. The car was traded in with a valid PA state inspection that expired at end of March 2017, but once we noted these issues, we removed the inspection sticker, as it would not pass PA state inspection today in it's current condition.

Please be advised that it is very expensive to advertise a vehicle here on Ebay, and this Taurus is offered with no reserve. So, please do not bid if you don't plan to purchase this vehicle. If you do that, then you've wasted our time and our money. We've heard all of the excuses from winning bidders to "my kids hit bid by accident" to someone 'stole my password" So, please don't bid if you are not a serious buyer. The winning bidder is not winning the opportunity of first refusal, and the winning bidder is not winning the opportunity to decide if they want to purchase this car. The winning bidder is the new owner, and payment in full is expected as per the terms set forth in this ad.

Fees: There is $125.00 handling / processing fee charged to the winning bidder in addition to the winning bid price. Please be advised that we reserve the right to refuse any and all offers. In light of the fact that this vehicle is being offered for sale at our store locally, we reserve the right to cancel any and all bids, and end this auction early without further notice.

In light of the fact that this car no longer has valid PA state inspection, it is our store policy to require that it be towed away from the dealership. Once you get it home, you can perform your own inspection, get it to conform to your state safety regulations before you register it and drive it on the road.

If you are a PA resident, you are required to pay P.A. State sales tax, in addition to title, document prep, and notary fees. If you are a non- PA resident, you be required to pay document prep fee and notary fee. You will only pay the tax, title and registration fees one time to your state of residence.
