1967 Ford Mustang Description

Selling my 1967 Mustang Fastback with original 289cid engine. I have had this car for almost 15 yrs and it has been a pleasure to own. I've put approximately 5,000 miles on her over that time period to car shows, cruise nights, and even work on "Fridays". Always garage kept. Anyone that drives a fastback knows how popular these timeless vehicles are and one in this paint scheme really stops traffic. This body style appeals to everyone, young or old! The time has come to offer it up for sale with a very reasonable reserve. When I bought the car, it was already painted in the silver and black paint scheme... apparently it was slated to go to Florida to be turned into a GT500 Eleanor, but I intercepted it and kept the chassis unmolested from what ends up happening to the Eleanor cars. The factory color was Acapulco Blue with a blue interior. It now has a black interior which looks really sharp wrapped in silver paint and chrome! I upgraded the seats to "Sport Seats" with headrests for both safety and looks. They are the original seat frames underneath wrapped in all new bolstering and mustang correct vinyl. The original automatic transmission from the factory was removed and replaced with a rebuilt one, but I still have the original and it is included in the sale. As stated above, the original 289 engine is in the car and both sounds amazing and runs like a champ. The engine bay could use some detailing and paint and it was my plan to do that before offering it up for sale. Sure won't take much to make that engine bay look amazing. There is power steering, power front disc brakes, no AC on the vehicle. There is an aftermarket nice audio system consisting of an alpine cd deck, 6" JL front speakers, V12 Alpine amplifier, and Alpine 10" subwoofer to listen to your favorite tunes over the amazing rumble of a 289 through dual Flowmaster mufflers. I did NOT cut into any of the vehicle to install the stereo system (the subwoofer and amplifier are in a custom enclosure in the trunk that can be removed easily). I will take a video of starting the car so that you can hear it and see how smooth the engine idles. If ebay does not allow me to post links to the video, message me for links to them and I'll give you the link. The paint is in good shape and looks flawless from 20' away but is not perfect. I took a picture of the only rust area I have found on the upper engine bay skirt on the passenger side which is approximately 2" in diameter. It was there in 2003 when I bought the car and hasn't grown at all. The interior is in excellent shape and everyone that sees or sits inside of it comments about how amazing the condition is. The rear folding seats are perfect and fold up and down great. I have a 1969 Mach1 rear axle housing and late 60's 9" pumpkin spare parts that are also included in the sale should the buyer want them. The car has its original 8" differential and rear axles installed. I'm sure there's more goodies about the vehicle I've left out but maybe it won't sell and I can just keep the car. :) Buyer is responsible for picking up or shipping the vehicle and any parts they want with the sale I mentioned above. Should the buyer not want the aftermarket stereo, I will remove it and credit $500. Good luck bidding, she's priced to sell...
