1974 Ford Other Pickups Description

Tough find here. 1st generation Ford Courier. Looks just like the full sized F100. These are getting harder to find in original running driving condition. Would make a great V8 swap. My original intentions. I wanted a conversation piece at car shows. Not just another plain jane truck with my personal taste thrown at it. Perfect for use as a shop truck or a run around beater. Pretty mechanically sound. Only needs would be a battery (current one is 6 years old an is becoming weak). A set of new tires ( they all hold air and do just fine, but are showing sidewall dry rot). Wouldn't suggest driving truck home if you'd be driving on interstate or parkways were you would be driving at a higher rate of speed. Rust issues?? There's 3 areas concern. The passenger floor board has rust through. But the floor panels are only $47 each side. (Might as well do both). The outer lower skin on the passenger side door has some minor rust. $27 replacement piece. The bed has a .50 sized hole behind the drivers side wheel well. You can purchase all exterior sheet metal from Sherman Automotives online. The bed consists of 3 pieces of sheet metal. If you wanted to replace it. But this is the only areas of interest to me. Frame is excellent. Surface rust "Patina" in various areas of the truck. Was going to leave the paint and clear coat it. Brand new in line fuel pump. Brand new Weber Carb. Manual steering. Manual brakes. Good glass. Comes with a nos grant steering wheel adapter. Was going to go with a grant wooden steering wheel. Bench seat needs recovered. Have the original owners manual. Book of maintenance records. Original protector plate. Clean. Clear. Open TN Title. No reserve. Highest bid gets it. Any questions just ask. Ps. I only have 3 hub caps.
